THE STREET RATS
New Orleans is Alive!
On the menu of the Streetrats is Louisiana Music. That’s
“soundkitchen”! A hearty stew of Blues, Zydeco, Cajun, Jazz
and Rock'n'Roll. A dish with ingredients of all flavours life around the
Mississippi Delta supplies: love and disappointment, black and white,
hardness and beauty, Redbeans and Rice.
Founded in 1995 as a blues band, the Streetrats turned one by one to the
music from the state of Louisiana. The Rats take their audience on a journey
to the Mississippi swamps, let it take a swig of New Orleans and feel
the Louisiana mysteries.

SKAZZ
Featuring Special Guest Star "The
King of Ska" rene van der Reijden from Holland
Playing a skandalous mixture of Jamaican Ska, Reggae & Latin , this Clare band formed in early 2006, but had been playing under the name of Doonbeg Swing & Jazz for several years. As well as having an international reputation as a Jazz and Swing band, they have also aquired status as one of the only true ska bands in the country today.
After rave reviews at the Ska Splash Festival in Skegness
UK 2008, 2007 Cork International Jazz festival, Ballydehob Jazz Festival,
and Trier International Jazz Festival (Germany), their following has grown
in leaps and bounds. In short, they are a music monster, that just keeps

IDOL BONES
IdolBones are a three piece swing jazz vocal harmony group.Their vast repertoire of songs also allows them to play a variety of music from popular rock to salsa etc; depending on the occasion.
On a regular basis, IdolBones play at both the Cork and Doonbeg Jazz Festivals and also provided music for the Listowel Writers Week Festival. They have also played after major events in the hospitality section at the RDS, Lansdowne Road and Croke Park.

Enjoy driving dixieland and swing entertainment from this hot Dublin band - always a big draw in Cork and renowned for hitting the high notes and delivering finger and toe-tapping music to satisfy allcomers. Just perfect for uptempo fizz and flair.
MOLLY & NORMAN
Molly O'Mahony, vocals and Norman Collins, guitar,
perform the best in bossa nova from Carlos Jobim's songbook, plus some
great swing and blues. A treat for guitar players and lovers of romantic
lyrics and melody.
JAZZ LITE
"Jazz Lite" from Limerick will be entertaining us with their music. This four piece band have appeared regularly at the Cork Jazz Festival as well as many functions in the Limerick area.
